The Training and Consulting grant helps farmers improve their business knowledge, develop management skills and develop farm business plans, for the purpose of growing profitable farming operations in Manitoba

Farmers, young (under age of 46) and beginning farmers, are eligible to apply.

• Refer to the Ag Action Manitoba – Farmers Guidebook for more detailed information on eligible and ineligible costs and other requirements.
• Complete an Application Form and email completed for and supporting documentation to agaction@gov.mb.ca.

Applicants will receive a confirmation email indicating that their application has been received. If a confirmation email is not received, please send an email without attachments to agaction@gov.mb.ca or call 1-844-769-6224.

• Maximum $5,500
• This program will cover a maximum of 50% of eligible costs
