The Canada Media Fund (CMF) supports the creation of popular, innovative Canadian content and software applications. The CMF receives contributions from the Government of Canada and Canada’s cable, satellite, and Internet Protocol television (IPTV) distributors.

The CMF is a not-for-profit corporation that supports the Canadian television and digital media industries through two streams of funding.

The Experimental Stream encourages the development of innovative, interactive content and leading-edge software applications for digital media platforms.

The Convergent Stream supports the creation of convergent television and digital media content which Canadians anytime, anywhere.

Each program requires specific documents to be submitted with each application. These documents can be found on each specific program page

Step 3: Apply Online
When you’re ready to submit your application, apply through Dialogue on Telefilm Canada’s website.
