This program is offered to Manitoba students whose first language (or dominant language) is English, to pursue their studies in a French Immersion Intensive Study Program at a post-secondary institution outside Manitoba.

• Be enrolled in, or be qualified for enrolment in full-time studies in a French Immersion Intensive Program offered from September to April at a Canadian French-language or bilingual post-secondary institution outside Manitoba, which is approved by the Minister
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Be a “Manitoba resident” – that is having lived 12 consecutive months ending the day before the first day the program starts and had to reside in Manitoba for a purpose other than education
