Description
This Program provides homeowners using electricity to heat their homes rebates OR low interest financing to help install wood or pellet heating equipment, a heat pump, solar air heating or solar domestic water heating (ENERGY STAR certified).
Eligibility
We can help with HomeWarming upgrades if:
- Your home hasn’t been in HomeWarming or the Low Income Homeowner Service before (homes are only eligible once a lifetime).
- Your income is under the income levels in the chart below.
- You own a single-unit home located in Nova Scotia and can provide proof of ownership. Please note: Row houses do qualify, but condos, multi-unit buildings, and rentals do not.
- Your home is your primary, year-round residence, and you don’t plan to sell in the near future.
